A-Coo-Stik Open Mic night features a range of hosts
covering various styles, which helps to keep the event unique. So here,
in no particular order are the usual four suspects:
Steve kicks out a steady stream of classics, including his own numbers,
from today and yesterday with his boy-next-door charm. With his band
rocking the Aberdeen scene at the moment and a recent T in the Park slot,
we're proud to have him as one of the A-coo-stik hosts.
Pete McConnville
Pete is our very own answer to Ralph from the Muppets, he has the
hair, the voice and the vibe to carry of a real blues jamster. Although
Petes passion lies with the blues, he has a real flair for folk/celtic
music that will guarentee to get your memory churning and your toes
tapping! If a jam is on your cards then you will definately get your
chance with this host as he is happy to play the guitar, keyboard
or just croon along!

Jamie
Stuart (My
Beautiful Ex-Girlfriend)
The best way to describe Jamie is 'the Voice of a Fallen Angel'.
He is loud, crude, offensive - true, but his unusual crowd-baiting
techniques definately make for an entertaining evening! A talented
songster who plays with pizazz, whether it's his own tunes or mainstream
classics. And we can assure you that when Emma's not been demanding
a t-shirt swap (long story!) he can also be a very sensibly dressed
young man!!

Amy Sawers
As our only femail host at A-Coo-Stik, Amy certainly does the girls
proud and keeps the boys keen with her party animal lifestyle and
sultry stage presence combo. Bizzarely likened to Jeff Buckley and
Joni Mitchell, Amy carries the evening with a barriage of her own
compositions and will inspire even the shyest to take a stand on
the mic.
